The mms may have been a problem in your area, I for one hope that mms does not go down again in my area, because a very angry Italian Girl would most likely kill me ..... haha

If mms problems happen again, then first call Virgin Mobile to see if it is, if not the backup current ROM and flash a Froyo Rom and reset the data with the Activation app: then restore the backup.

Is the sdcard partition and is the partition an ext-3 or ext-4? If not that well cause boot problems.

I'm still working on the app to replace BacksideUpdater.

I've decided to make the kernel available to all and well be uploading an install zip today.

Thank you for the ROM, EarthnFire78. Any chance of making the font a little easier to read? I had a hard time with seeing the 3g part and other stuff before when I installed the 8-20 version.

Has to do with the clock being in the center, I may release a version with the normal clock ; I'm also looking into using different status bar icons, with the blue toned down just a bit.

I'm testing out some more changes to the kernel and weather or not that the USB-Fast-Charge works. IF everything goes good well be releasing the kernel in a few days.

How do I get this working? I can install the rom, no problem, and it gets as far as the boot animation, but then it just hangs on the android, it freezes and never boots into the screen. I'd love to know what I'm doing wrong, if I am, because this rom sounds very nice and it's the only one I have absolutely not been able to get to work.

You need to partition the sdcard and the partition must be either an ext-3 or ext-4. Look under the advance menu in the recovery for partition options, but do not set Swap, keep it at 0.

The kernel is included in the rom. No need to flash it separate unless you want to use it on another rom

Well the flash zip for the Kernel is a little newer then what comes with the ROM, I'm been doing more work with the Kernel lately testing out what works and what doesn't: also see what can be re moved. That is the reason I release the Kernel, so that others can use it without have to flash the ROM.

Kernel update is posted for testing. I'm still working on adding the option to turn on and off fastcharge in CMParts and on an app to replace BacksideUpdater.

Today I installed your ROM and newer kernel. Everything seems to work great so far! I tried to flash the CWM Blue Recovery with Flash Image GUI app, and keep getting told to flash a compatible recovery image for the Optimus V. I thought just the misspelling in the name was the problem, but it still won't let me flash.

Also, just to make sure, everything in this ROM, kernel, and recovery is compatible with the updated radio ZV9, right?

I'm not a big fan of the Flash Image GUI, if you have already flashed the ROM then BacksideUpdater can also flash a recovery. Just a note if you downloaded the recovery using the stock browser then use FileManager to rename ".txt" to ".img," as Androids way of keeping .img files from auto playing is to save it as a .txt.

And yes the kernel is ZV9 Radio Compatible.

I'm sorry to be such a noob, but I've been all over in the VM670NH_recovery, and can't find the option to flash a recovery anywhere. I tried using install zip from sd card, and your recovery does not show. Which option should I choose?

I appreciate your help!
