Do you have a partitioned sd? last i tried it would keep crashing with 7.xxx so i gave up. does 8 and above use partitioned sd cards? with the low quadrant scores i keep seeing it doesnt seem like anyone is using partitioned sd cards. 1,6k is high but not huge like the almost 3k i was seeing.
 
Its all in my sig. 8/30 with snap v8.1, OC' ed to something I forget and no partition, I don't bother.
 
awesome. im going to format my card back to no partition so i dont have all the problems i've been having. i'll try 8/30< with an 8< snap and see how it runs. Thanks for the help.
 
Its not like I invented the snap, take that up with them lol.

Should work, I'm getting awesome battery life too.
 
I'm using the 850, pick anyone you'd like really.

I'm punching out for the night, in case you were wondering: flash the nightly, reboot, flash snap, reboot, and hopefully enjoy. If the one you picked, say you picked 825, if 825 sucks flash 850 and keep working up till it works and everything is kosher.

Cool, thanks man! i havent worked in 3 months due to a broken knee. Its 2:35 AM (PST) and i'm wondering why the hell anyone else is still awake.

For those that might run into this problem, here's what I did.
-flashed 8-24 nightly, couldn't connect.
-I nandroided back to 8-14, couldn't connect.
-Full wiped, flashed the release version, couldn't connect.
-full wiped, flashed fresh 3.0.1, new radio and could connect to charge but no access to drive.
-updated htc sync on PC to 2.0.40
DING!DING!DING!
Now I can connect to SD and charge via usb when phone is on. Wiped and nandroided back to Cyan release, and can connect.

YAY!
 
just flash 8.31.10 with 8.1 850 (phone reboots like crazy..............wipes like 3 times the phone stop rebooting but wouldn't charge on wall charge it would force a reboot)

going to try my hands on 8.2...........

just wondering how would i know what is my Eng bootloader version
and what is Eng bootloader version, and what it does?
(just wondering b/c some one posted .76 to flash)

Try the 8.2 900 or 950 if 850 gives you boot loops and problems.
