i'm back on RC2 by itself with no Kernel lol...i'm thinking i might be overloading something...i have a couple appointments tomorrow but after them i'll fix my problem...just wait 
well...i'm trying to fix it via my laptop now...which has windows 7 and i can't get sdk/adb to work on it! it was so easy to do on my pc with vista...i downloaded everything it said to and when i do "adb devices" in my cmp promt it can't find anything 
i just need adb on my laptop 
when i try to run the SDK Setup i get this
"Failed to fetch URL https://dl-ssl.google.com/android/repository/repository.xml, reason: dl-ssl.google.com"

search around for it, its a broken link that needs adjusting, i forgot the exact details but the fix is easy...
its over 2000! (not quite perfect but how about a little love)

I was running RC2 with Snap 7.0 without the SD card partitioned.. everything worked great. I restored to an RC2 with the stock kernel, copied off my entire SD card to my computer, installed AmonRa.. did the partition.. rebooted, copied back all my SD card contents, booted into recovery and flashed the new D3X Spin kernel.. and been loving it since. No problems!

oh...i didn't think it would work with this rom at all lol...i think i have the APK file from when i got it before lol...let me try it...i'm on the normal RC2 righjt now with out the kernel...i'm going to load that back too..

So, dumb question. Where do I put swype on my sdcard to make it work and how do i install it? i know how to change the input method but not sure if there is an install routine for the .apk
put it anywhere on the SD card...i put the APK on the root of my card...open ASTRO manager and click the file and it'll ask how you want to open it and use the install manager or whatever it is then follow the steps
