I tried everything except re partitioning

i started from the beginning and just did eveything over again...it works now lol

Everything works now? I didn't want to have to partition again it took forever to transfer 6 gigs back to my card

i went back to my old set up...and redid everything again from the beginning...but this time i didn't transfer all my stuff to my SD card until after i flashed the kernel...guess tha is what made all the difference...but i repartitioned the SD card and all

from the old CM6 with snapv4 i was running...i flashed CM6-RC2, backed up, partitioned SD, flashed kernel, rebooted, restored SD content, reboot recovery, advanced recovery, data recovery, reboot phone

I was just going to ask you if you rebooted between rc2 and backup or if you did it all in sequence from recovery. But now that you crashed I'm not sure I'm going to try.
