So I have a s4 tmobile version 4.4.4. Great phone btw, but anyways, i got an update the other day thinking it was lollipop. It's actually an update to 4.4.4 with refinements and once I installed it, it ran a lot smoother! The problem I'm having all of a sudden is that i can barely stream youtube videos in 1080p which I was able to seeminglessly prior to this update I'm currently running! It's so frustrating. I wiped cache and I dont think I need to factory reset my data either, so help would be much appreciated. Btw here are my speed tests results which doesn't correlate at all with how this phone isn't able to stream 720p or 1080p...

That's T-Mobile BingeOn in effect. Do you have an unlimited plan? If so, you can turn it off and get your normal streaming back. If you don't, you effectively have unlimited data until March. But it will throttle your video streaming to 480P. If you disable it, you will return to your original plan. You can dial #264# to check if BingeOn is enabled. If it is, it can be disabled by dialing #263#

I do have an unlimited data plan and i tried to enter that into the dialer and it said "non existing short code"

Ok man I just turned it off via the my tmobile app and from what it looks like, it's off, but it still didn't fix the issue!

Not sure why it's enabled for users with unlimited data too, but it's fairly easy to turn it off. Glad it's working for you now though!
