Android Central Question
Virgin Mobile Galaxy S7 8.0.0 with the 08/2018 security update.
Since VMo pushed the Oreo update, I've had a couple instances where I'd get an event notification from the calendar app...but it was a REALLY old appointment. When I clear the notice, I see that the phone date/time had been set to many months ago. It happened again this morning (19 Sept. 2018). The Date/Time on the phone was 23 February 2018. I unlocked the phone, opened the calendar app, and it was set to that date. I closed the app, locked the screen, then checked again, and it was "Back to the Present."
Any ideas what may be causing this? Cell tower issue? NTP time source or peer? Are date/time adjustments loged anywhere so I can prove I'm not insane?
