I put dbrand skins on my V20 and my V30 and I just assumed they would be available for the V40 as well. But, when I didn't find them on their site I emailed them and asked and they told me they hadn't seen enough interest yet to start prototyping. If you have a free couple of minutes I'd greatly appreciate an email sent asking them to support the V40

That is crazy. LG, Samsung, and Apple are the only companies that sell phones on EVERY carrier. There will be more V40s sold than any of the unlocked phones sold in the US.

It is crazy, I'm really hoping that more people contact them asking for it. I don't like using a case on my phones but I really like a little added grip that a skin offers.

At the price the V40 is going for I don't think it's going to sell well until they start dropping the price. I can see why dbrand and other accessory makers probably aren't going to do much for it.

They did, it's no longer $950, it's $750 at Best Buy for the UNLOCKED version. Carriers will have their own special deals.

I have put a matte clear Skinomi skin on the back of mine. It was more difficult to install but it came out nice. It'll do for now.

I have the matte skin protector from IQ Shield from Amazon. Installation is actually pretty easy and the bubbles flatten out after a few days.

Yeah I was surprised how well it turned out and how easy it was. There were bubbles at first and I was paranoid but it flattens out after a few days. Works with a case too (at least just the back skin does).
