By the way - just tried the Xionia Kernel 009 as well

"Now offering experimental LS670ZVD kernel only (AnyKernel Edition). May work for users having problems with boot.img edition eating space in /data."

Works with 1.5.2-VC edition and keeps the dalvik-cache in the /cache directory!

I did a wipe-cache before rebooting - just in case

010: Download (Experimental AnyKernel Edition)

Updated to AnyKernel Version 010 - working with nRom 1.5.2 VC version - no issues.

I have also had the problem of my home button not working.. I did wipe data and reflash, and this fixed the problem. Days later, I powered down and restarted it. This caused the problem to reoccur.. Thoughts? I hate having to go through and re-install everything, even with Titanium Backup

Also, all of my setting have been reset. Meaning my keyboard settings, roaming preferences, sound, etc..

Yea

Have Xionia Experimental V 013 loaded - no issues

Also have Xionia Clockwork CWMA v1.2518.6 loaded - works with 1.5.2 VC

VD Update Notice

I just updated to VD using Robchaos' method. Everything went smoothly and Im now using nRom 1.5.2 and the phone shows the VD. The problem is sprints stupid OTA notification still pops up wanting me to update my software. Can I use the "stop buggin" script I flashed the first go around when I was on thunder?

Yeah that should do it.

There are actually a few issues with the Xionia kernel 11 and up that I've experienced so far. Twice now I've had something running the phone down (battery temp at 95 degrees) with "system" being the only app using a significant amount of CPU time according to SystemMoniter app. After rebooting from that state the last time, OS never loaded back up properly, just went to black screen after a LONG time at the Android logo.

Likewise, zefie has even ackowledged this issue:

http://forum.androidcentral.com/lg-...onia-kernel-2-6-32-33-v013-43.html#post736353

which I've also seen several times (as well as the phone unmounting the SD Card by itself once). I'm sticking with 10 for the time being due to this. Must be something related to the linux kernel bump.

Yeah that should do it.

I flashed Stop Bugging through recovery and apparently it didn't take since the OTA is still buggin me. I hear that pushing more info and pulling the battery sometimes works... if it doesn't I guess I will try flashing again because the OTA notification is annoying

The Anti-OTA patch that is floating around here is for VC

A new one with the appropriate version # changes would have to be made to trick the VD version update

Not sure how to find those version #'s

Dont think there is any no nag version for VD. you must either update or keep scratching. :)

I updated by ota and it failed. I later update through lg update and it work, I then reinstalled my nand back up of nrom and I was ok. But soon after I was asked to ota update again, I went ahead and it failed again and it stop asking me to update. My question is I updated my other LG Optimus thought the ota update and it went to VD and android 2.2.2 (unrooted LG phone). My rooted LG Optimus update to VD through the LG update but is still on android 2.2.1. Can I upgrade to 2.2.2? What is the advantage.

You will continue to get update nag screens until I update nROM. Generally, you should not accept OTA updates while you are rooted. The LG updater seems like the way to go. I will release an update for nROM sometime this week so just hang in there.

And you probably are on 2.2.2 but the phone is just reading 2.2.1 from nROM, however I could be wrong. This will all be well after the update for nROM rolls out.

i believe it lets you use the wiimote as a controller for the games on your phone

Okay cool thanks, I'll look into it. Interesting concept.

If you haven't already please update to VD using the LG updater. I'm releasing v1.6 shortly and it requires you to be on VD. Well maybe it works on V9 and VC, I don't really know.

Nick, my baseband is as follows: LS670MVD, but software version says LS670ZVC. so am I on VD or VC?
