Great rom as usual!

Any way of getting the larger dialer keys for the high dence rom
i have big fingers, and its making me dial all sorts of new people...

I'll work on something, those buttons are pretty small lol

Had the WiFi Tether FC on me while using the browser. Just uninstalled both of em because its something I don't use.

I have a link to it on the OP I think. It's called fancy widget and it was removed from the market due to legal issues with HTC. It was free though.

i cant update from nROM 1.5.2 it tells me that there was a failure at line 15 or 19 or something. I first tried wiping dalvik and cache and tried flashing nROM 1.6. When that failed i wiped data, cache, and dalvik again, restored the backup i made and tried flashing it again and got the same error. Why does it not work:'(

Also im using Xionia .4 recovery, xionia 007 kernal and i am on VD.

Maybe your 1.6 download is corrupt somehow. I'd redownload and try another flash.

Sequence of Thunderom

I know this is the NRom thread but i think its safe to ask my question here. I've been looking for the correct flashing sequence for the 3 zip files in Thunderom V1.8.2. I already flashed Thunderom, however after the fact ,I realized there were 3 files and a specified sequence. I will gladly reflash all 3 if I have to. Phone does seem to be a bit laggy as is, however im OC'd at 816 right now and it seems to be fine.......I am a newb. by the way, running ZVD,android 2.2.2

What are the 3 files?

There is Thunder Rom 1.8.2 and then a stock button layout zip file (optional)

Directions from post # 2 are:

How to flash ROM
Download ROM, do not open it, do not extract it, do not rename it.
place on root of sdcard
boot into recovery
make a nadroid backup
wipe data,cache,dalvik
flash rom
reboot

You really only need to flash the Thunder Rom 1.8.2 file - thats it.

OK.............well thats what I originally did. This is my only Thunderom Flash, but I have Thunderom stagefright and another Thunderom zip file somehow. Maybe I misunderstood the thread, but its not the first time I heard this. IDK....I think I might have already had , these files,but dont know how I got em.....

I've never flashed any of the Thunder Rom's myself.

The smaller zips are usually just to tweak settings.

Once you flash the huge 80 MB-ish Thunder Rom 1.8.2 - you can just save it

Ohhhhhhhhhhhh! OK thanks.....Ill flash em now then, they were put here for a reason.....Oh yeah, is there a program that can view the contents of the android.secure file? Or is this a temp file for nandroid backups?

v1.6.1 offers some UI enhancements. Also merged the two ROMs. Read the changelog.

I know this can be done with Astro, but how do I allow my phone to download files from websites? I'm using root explorer now and I don't see the option to allow it.

I would suggest just installing a different browser like miren or dolphin. I'll look for a modded stock browser thpugh that allows this.

v1.6.1 is on VD and can update PRL and profile. Give it a shot.
