Yeah.. It's a resilient little bugger. I'm still trying to rid our phones of it.


And I'll look into the black facebook text. Downloading fb now.

thank you for the reply. yes i am still using v9. Is that a problem? and as far as updating prl. i thought we werent supposed to do that while the phone is rooted? i will give it a try though.

i went ahead and upgraded again to 1.6.1 and tried to update prl. it said it was up to date and didnt need it, but i still get this hands free activation screen every time i turn on the phone and has me locked in at 1x. any ideas Nick or anyone else?

Oh you need to update to VC or VD. I suggest using the LG updater.

This is how I did mine since my phone was a refurb. This method will work regardless if you are refurb or not. Just make sure to follow the directions to a "T".

I'm still running, nice, stable, and quite fast on nRom 1.6

Any reason to upgrade to 1.6.2?

And am guessing, you still need to apply your prior StandardLCD-Density and Gallery original patches if you want those?

Gallery was restored, but yes you will have to apply the LCD density patch. There isn't too much of a difference between v1.6 and v1.6.2. Just a newer version of Xionia kernel and some UI tweaks.

It's the weather/news widget that comes with nROM itself. Just check your widgets menu.

Are you forum goers downloading nROM from the ftp site (link in OP) or my website? For some reason I have like 80 downloads on mediafire but I don't see why a forum user would go to my website to get the ROM.

I've always used the mediafire link. BTW, absolutely awesome rom!! Thank you for all of your hard work. It certainly does not go unappreciated.

Oh lol, I guess that people are using it then, which is good For some reason I cannot link anything from an ftp server on my website's download page so I was just concerned that people didn't realize that there was a direct link to an ftp server. Thanks again!

Oh. Thats weird. It may have to do with the paths because there are spaces in the filenames. I can rename the folders to not have spaces in them?
