Oh. Thats weird. It may have to do with the paths because there are spaces in the filenames. I can rename the folders to not have spaces in them?

I'm thinking that is the problem, it doesn't like the %20 operators or something :P

TR has a feature I like, the one were only the power button wakes the phone, anyway to put that on my nRom? TIA

nROM FTP link is going to go down for a moment, I'm trying to change the file paths. It will take probably about 15 minutes for me to change the path and the file permissions.

Hmmm. I felt like trying Nrom out, so I downloaded, copied to sdcard, booted recovery, flashed.....and got a black screen.

Out of curiosity, I wiped data/cache/dalvik, flashed.... same thing.

Is there something I'm missing here?

Just to make sure, I would wipe /system, /data, and /cache. Try that and see what happens.
1. Do all the wipes above.
2. Flash ROM
3. Reboot

You should be good. If that doesn't work, redownload the ROM.

No joy adding system to the wipes, so I'll try to redownload it. I'll pull it from your FTP this time and see if it makes a difference. Any chance I could get an MD5 for it to check it?

Ok, so redownloaded, wiped system/data/cache/dalvik, flashed, black screen.

Out of sheer morbid masochism, I directly redownloaded the zip using my phone, moved it to the sd root, wiped, flashed, black screen.

So now I'm out of ideas. I can't for the life of me figure out why my phone doesn't like nROM. I have flashed both Scott Pilgrim and ThundeROM fine.

If it helps any, I'm running Xionia's recovery and haven't messed with the kernel any other than what the ROMS may have done to it.

Flash the latest Xionia kernel after you flash nROM and it will work.

Yeah the recovery and kernel are different; you need the kernel. Sorry for not making that clear. Follow shortyjacobs link to the kernel.

Got it. For all I'm learning here, I'm quickly starting to realize that every time I think I have a decent grasp of things there's something new to fry my brain >_<
