Is this using ADW as its launcher? It seems to be missing a lot of the options for ADW (theming, the menu is different, etc)

flashed this about a month ago, and after doing so the facebook app did not work properly. would force close if choosing to do anything from the menu screen in app.

That was a problem with a certain version (I think either 1.5.2 or 1.5.3) of the Facebook app itself. Try updating it from the Market. If that doesn't work try uninstalling it completely, rebooting the phone, and reinstalling it from the Market.

My wife is running this ROM on her phone and I'm jealous. I have an Epic 4G and what a waste of money when this phone is just as good. The Epic gets no updates and has a ton of annoying quirks,

The hardware in the Epic 4G (Pretty much a Nexus S 4G) is far far far superior to the Optimus series. The epic isn't full open source.....that's why its hard to get updates. Samsung seems to have learned though as newer Sammy phones are fully open.

I installed just like the post said and all i get is a black screen. Please help

Try a different copy. Xda has a version with the device check disabled. With cm7 we don't have the green bar on top that everyone complains about.

well got it to install sort of lol. now it hangs at the screen with the guy playing the guitar. doing a restore now. bty im using the Xionia CWMA v1.2518.6 for my recovery.

I aswell havok.. the 1st time I flashed it, it just hung on the rocker screen.. then I redid it again and it worked great.. I love this Rom so far and hope to see an update :)

Been running this all day now lol, and its amazing!! 2.3 was the main thing I was gonna moss about the hero but this rom dosent dissappoint me at all. One thing I've noticed is it reboots randomly from time to time, but its nothing but a small nuisance

Im also coming from the cdma hero. Just like the hero if your overclock is too high you will get reboots. I had mine on 767 all week and then while I was GPSing it rebooted so I have lowered it and havent seen a reboot since.
