Was USB working on this build.... Trying to troubleshoot a cable and realized I can't remember if usb connection was working or not. Not talking about tethering.
I'm still running 0419 version

will this work for the optimus v
Probably. Give it a try. Little things that change between networks like mms (picture mail) may not work....
I flashed it and it works great BUT lol now i have no 3G any help on getting my 3G to work again??
Try reflashing. If that doesn't work, just wait for an update to this. One should be out soon. They are still trying to get it to package properly with no errors before releasing it. btw, it may show EV at the top. If that is the case, it's still 3G

The method I did to get cm7 working was this. Download the latest nightly, google apps (gapps) and debug-formatsystem.zip. Did my backup and loaded the 3 zips on the root of the sdcard. Wiped data/cache and mount and storage > format system (as in OP directions).

Then (in xionia clockwork) I flashed the nightly. There I got confused, and was unsure how to follow zefies directions. So I thought what the heII? I flashed the debug-formatsystem.zip, reflashed the nightly, and then gapps and rebooted.

Follow the prompts till you get asked to sign into your google accounts, skip that to avoid the slide out keyboard issue. Continue and when able open the market and sign in to your gmail account to sync contacts and such. TADA thats it, I then reloaded all apps and such.

Hope that helps, I dont know if all those steps were needed or not, but it worked for me.

Hey guys, is the MMS bug still present? If so can the fix from the aospCMod ROM be used?

Ok everyone, so since Zefie's repo was having some errors in the vendor tree when compiling (prevented compiling at all), I had this idea: The aospCMod ROM for the Optimus V works fine on our phones when the correct APN's are added. This means that the vendor tree for the Optimus V will work fine with the Optimus S. Therefore, I can take nightly source for CyanogenMod, start a new repo, and use the Optimus V vendor tree, and then add in the Sprint changes. I'll try and keep it exactly like Scott Pilgrim Awesomeness (minus the bootscreen... I like the stock bootscreen better).

I don't know about other people, but I can't get but about half of my apps to restore from TiBu or install from market with aospcmod. They just won't. I've tried everything, and aside from a really old build (4-27), they simply won't install, even from an apk. I haven't had that problem with any other roms, so I'm inclined to think it's an OV issue.

I have tried aospcmod, and did use market to fresh install all apps. It worked fine, and fairly painlessly. Just a little bit slower than using Titanium. Other than that, the lack of receiving MMS and non-working cameras is very fixable by using the correct Optimus S APN's, as you suggest.

Personally, I look forward to your releases, and will upgrade to eachtry every one.

That would be great, I would definitely use it. The Scott Pilgrim port is really nice.

he broke his phone and something about a computer i think?

I was talking to him awhile ago and he said he broke his phone (because he was pissed at it xD). Also, his GitHub repository is messed up and he can't figure out the problem with it (multiple config errors). He also doesn't have a phone to test with... so he's out of the Optimus S game ATM. I'm going to attempt to keep maintaining this ROM for us though...
