notification issue is either upstream or just optimus related. thunderg has same issue.

usb mounting DOES work, if it refuses to load (closes when you try to open usb mass storage dialog), just unplug and re-plug your phone. It has something to do with when you boot the device while connected to PC.

Well then, see what happens when you're out of it because you're sick? You miss important info :(

Question

So, have a question. Not trying to push you at all, just curious. Will updates/new versions come out: 1.) nightly or close to it? 2.) as you are able to add/fix enhancements/problems?

Im sure it will be extremely difficult to have nightly versions if there is only 1-2 dev. working on this.

I'd say we were certainly spoiled with how quickly 15&16 followed 14. But i can't imagine you'll be able to keep that pace, as you were up for what? over 30 hours straight?

For all those that have complaints about dual call end buttons showing up please do this. Before you even go into recovery, delete ALL android created folders from the root of your SD card. I just kept my music, dcim and a folder that has all my apps.
Then I went into the recovery:
-Factory reset
-wipe data
-wipe dalvik cache
-flash debugformatsystem.zip
-flash nightly
-flash gapps
-reboot

No more dual superimposed screens and no more proximity sensor issue anymore. Hope this helps some of you.

I can verify that doing this works for the proximity sensor issue, even without cleaning out your sd card. I didn't do a full wipe (including the debugformatsystem.zip flash) when i first flashed the 15 build, so maybe that had something to do with it. I never had the dual screen thing, though.. I even tried flashing this then doing a nandroid restore, but didn't work. Only thing that did work was create nandroid backup just in case, then wipe everything (including using the debugformatsystem.zip flash), and finally reflash the nightly and the gapps. upon first boot i dialed my own number for voicemail, and tested the speakerphone (which seems to be louder now, but still not as much as it was with TR), and the proximity sensor makes the screen actually come back on when the phone is away from my face, without any issues. only thing now is the sound playback is still missing any bass levels. but that's minor and will be fixed in time..

prox issue still exits have not looked into that yet. just swype your thumb over the sprint logo (speaker, off screen) when the issue occurs.

same as usb issue since there is a workaround that involves minimal effort, the bug is low priority. I still intend to fix it, but it gets put on the back burner compared to other issues, like BT Headset silence, and Wired Headset mic not working.

+1

Or instead of pulling phone away from ear, slide it across ear, this will do the same as the finger slide :)

For those who need access to SD Card from PC, download and install Droid Explorer. Once that it up and running you can drag and drop PC 2 SD with no issues. Droid Explorer is like ADB with graphics, you can push and pull apk's , files, all that good command line stuff by drag N drop :)

actually, just kidding. turns out the prox issue is still there. that was weird though.. it was working, then i restored all my apps with titanium and it wasn't. go figure..

ninja edit: i've found out an apparent fix for it real quick. and super easy. just go into settings > call settings and check off the option to 'always use proximity'.. i've just tested and it works perfect for moving the phone away from my face. maybe it's because it has a hard time determining whether the phone is vert/horiz during a call? that option mentions that it forces the phone to use prox sensor even if it's horizontal during a call (why would you have it horiz next to your face??) anyway, it works. so maybe this wasn't much of a bug afterall..

That also works. I already put this as a solution in some earler thread. Thanks for bringing it to notice again.

Works for me too. I put the info in the Known Issues google thread too. Thanks acromack.

Just plugged in my Optimus into my mac with 02162011 and the USB connected or the USB Debug notification did not come up. I know this already works in stock but now it dosen't. Interestingly enough usb tethering via easytether still works. Though now I can't copy any file to my sdcard now without using dropbox or bluetooth. Help??

My USB works fine. When I connect my phone, I just enable usb from the pull down menu and it works fine. Make sure drivers are installed

Omg best rom ever!!!!! Thank u soo much!!! One question though, is the GPS broken??
