Can someone please show me where to DL all the nightlies?

Nevermind I see it on the front page...I thought that they were listed somewhere on CM's website. Has anyone had any issues going to this ROM from any other ROMs or basebands?

We aren't an official port yet. (Haven't applied/tried/whatever)

I flashed the new version and now my audio is very low when playing muaic

I have set the volumes in CM7 to actually be HIGHER than stock. Please verify your headphones are securely connected fully into the headphone jack, this can interfere with the volume.

I used the phone speaker. It sounds loud for the first second and then it lowers, same thing happens with phone calls now

Is it required to wipe data when installing a new version?
Just wondering. love the work Zefie! :)

im also having lower volume from the speakers then normal, starts off loud for like a microsecond then goes quieter, definitly not a dealbreaker, everything else seems to run really well, your the man zefie

Edit: its almost like somethings autoleveling like a tv would

I'm not seeing anything in the logs saying its an error, warning or anything. If I had to speculate, I'm guessing its the Equalizer kicking in late. I redid the audio backend to properly accept LG's AudioFilter's so maybe that is why we notice a difference. Oddly, headphones don't seem to be effected. I do notice it on the device speaker though.

I don't know.

Zefie,

I have noticed in the dsp manager, when you turn on compression, it automatically turns the volume to max (or so it sounds, the volume indicator doesn't change) and adjusting volume after it's on does nothing.

Also, in the notes on the first page it mentions the audio is now routed to headsets but still uses the phone's mic (correct?). In a future build, could it be possible to either toggle the phone's mic or headset mic? Or to use the phone mic if there is no mic on the headset? Not sure if it's even possible. But I know before I got my mic'd headset, I wished the on-board mic worked rather than unplugging the headphones to take a call. (this was with my old phone)

General rule of thumb I apply is try it. If you have errors, crashe, or boot loops, then clear data.

Always make nandroid backups because if there is a bug we might ask you to clear your cache/data to retest.

Compression is messed up, has been since beginning, forgot to mention it :)

It should be possible! Right now you could use a non-mic headset and talk into the phone. But this is a bug, it wasn't intentional. But it shows it is possible. Implementing it is another story lol.

Edit: Apparently it doesn't work in the release, it worked in my test. I'll retract that.

pull battery, count to 5, replace battery, press and hold home and volume down simultaneously, while holding them press power. hold until lg logo appears.
Thanks, I'm pretty new at this stiff so the boot loop and the inability to get to recovery about made me crap myself.
I'm reflashing to Lego for now, but I really want to try this ROM as it loos pretty sweet.

One more thing, if I run the debug-FormatSYSTEM do I still need to wipe data/cache?
I'm not sure if I did anything wrong to throw it into the bootloop....

I overclock to the max and I run the quadrant and my phone reboots by itself

That's a feature.

(really, different phones can handle different speeds. Your phone obviously can't hit the max...most can't).

formatSYSTEM only formats the /system, not everything. If installing CM7 over another ROM, you should still wipe data/cache as well as /system.

Definetely wipe data/cache if you are coming from 2.2.1

Any chance someone can point me in the right direction with this error? Help would be much appreciated..

Which custom recovery are you using?

ClockworkMod v2.5.1.8

I've tried wiping data and also tried the Debug-Format zip. Not sure if I'm missing a step, but I haven't been able to flash any of the CM versions, even after re-downloading everything.
