This is exciting news... I can't wait to see the way this develops out. FM radio would be the icing on the cake!

Gapps installed no problem, everything there seems to work including market. Runs beautiful!

I am having problems installing cwma. I get errors after # cat /sdcard/flash_image > /system/bin/ flash_image in both adb and terminal. I have the image downloaded and placed on root of sdcard. Can this be used on other custom recoveries?

It should work on others as well, I just haven't tested them.

I see no reason it wouldn't work on GNM's recovery.

Gapps working fine for me too. Immediately after flashing the rom, flash the gapps, then first-boot. :)

http://www.mediafire.com/?7jaz6pt2k7psdlf <<these gapps, when set up appears it will tell you to slide open your keyboard. just skip the set-up and open market from home screen, the set-up will support virtual keyboard.

I'm trying to figure out why it does that.

First off THANK YOU (Happy Time then bell rings). Second on the first post you mentioned it has a theme porter how do I get that to work? I tried flashing the 2point2 theme port and all I get is a boot loop. Thank You for this Cyanogen is all I miss from my HeroC :D

btw guys im almost done setting up my git repos correctly so once I test on a brand new x64 virtual machine, if it builds you will be able to start following my repo on github and build your own cyanogens :)

And you thought Lego ROM would be a tech support nightmare. :p

Just installed, super easy! Had CM6 for my Moment briefly, but data was quirky. Thanks for the work!

Something else I've noticed not working - can't scroll when the keyboard is up. Not a biggie (since you can just close the keyboard to access other prompts) but would be nice to see it working at some point :P

EDIT: Phone also doesn't turn off properly when plugged in, just reboots, though feel like that's something I might have missed reading for some reason.

That said, despite this being a beta... seems like this is more than usable as a day to day ROM, thinking of just leaving it and updating later, assuming all my main apps restore properly (don't see why they wouldn't)

EDITEDIT: Seems that I've lost my market history... including purchased apps. Probably related to the bug with setting up accounts when the phone starts and how I restored my apps and such; however there's no option to clear data on it (the button is disabled). Swype appears to be gone as well, so would be nice to see that.

EDITTIMES3: Forget the market history bit, seems that I have it all registered under a different email... maybe just set the emails up in the wrong order when I set up the ROM I purchased them on or something.

And not criticizing over "boo hoo, feature x is missing", I'm actually really excited to have a Gingerbread ROM and really appreciate the work put in to it :P Just figure I should get what I notice is wrong out there so that you can look in to it while you're working on it :P

how did you do it when i install market it closes itself

ya i just flashed gapps from Latest Version - CyanogenMod Wiki for cm7. didn't do it on first boot but i downloaded them and flashed in recovery. booted up and asked me about google backup, backed out of that then went into market where i put my gmail stuff in and then it asked me what to download (gmail, maps, goggles, etc.) and worked fine after that. i believe the slideout the kb deal is for google backup only. got the normal screen for gmail info to sync contacts and whatnot.

cell location works good. really everything seems to work good except whats not supported yet (gps, camera, etc) outstanding!

ran overnight with any problems. setcpu overclocked it for me.
