From Titanium Backup, I see Sprint Installer. Been wondering for a bit now what it's purpose is. ?????
For some reason my 3G connection has been extremely sporadic since I've flashed 1.7. Can anyone help me on how to fix this??
I did too! It must have been a rogue app or something... Rebooted, cleared cache and cleaned up a few apps and seems to be back to normal...
Now I gotta flash 1.8.2! lol TR just keeps gettin' better and better!! Thanks Dev's!!!

I have 1.6 I see with the newer updated roms the front buttons will not wakeup the phone. Is there a way to revert this after updating?

Anyone with a v9 device try flashing 1.8.2. Make a nand backup first. You won't be able to update profile or PRL (phone reboots) but try it, should run.
The reason I'm saying that is nick7 still has a v9 radio, and flashed LEGO ROM 3 without an issue (no, it's not out yet) which makes me believe that in VD one of the little secrets Sprint didn't add to the change log is removed radio verification from mvpdm.
If i had to guess the real changelog for Sprint's VD release would look like:
-Removed radio verification (sorry, was a dumb idea)
-New users can now skip Sprint ID on first boot (sorry, was a dumb idea)
-Added profile verification to stop you punks from using wireless tether and not paying for it.
-Fixed LG hang

Is there some way to add the ability to change the hostname that comes up in a router through ThundeROM? I saw a thread on xda saying its possible but I don't really relish futzing around in adb shell more than I have to.

All I did was swap some icon's... This framework is Beezy and KsmithinNY's work. I've just swapped out some icons because I like the circle battery icon better.
I'm using TR 1.7 with the VC update do I need to do the VD update before I can flash to TR 1.8.2?

Yes, TR 1.8 and 1.8.2 are made based on ZVD. It is a pretty easy process. Save TR 1.8.2 on the root of your sd. Make NAND backup. Update to ZVD using the LG Updater tool. From your custom recovery flash 1.8.2.
1.8.2 up and running flawlessly with zefie's 013...still can't overclock my phone over 787 without rebooting in five minutes...guess I have a slower Op-S. But still, a huge difference over stock anyday...thanks!
