Pattern Lock Screen Reboot Returns in v1.8

Has anyone else ran into the pattern lock screen reboot in version 1.8? I thought Nick fixed that?

I've been running 1.8 since it's release and I have not had that happen once. LOL, now that I said something it probably will happen.

I hope this isn't a stupid question, but running VD, TR 1.8, no problems at all. My question is why can't I select a ringtone for the alarm? And when I go into Sounds and Volume, sometimes there is an Alarm volume and sometimes there is not, only Ringtone and Media volumes...

In the Alarm Settings, the volume is all the way up, but I can't select an alarm tone at all, unless I'm missing where to select it?

Also, I don't know if I missed this also, (i've read thru most all of these threads, I swear!) is there a way to get Sprint Apps (TV preferably) with TR 1.8?

No such thing as a stupid question in my opinion.

Open CLOCK or whatever app you use for your alarms and you can change the ringtone from there.

also if you go settings--sound you can change the set volume.

I prefer the alarm clock posted here in lego rom.

somehow i managed to keep my sprint tv through the process. but i think one of the guys has a link for it

Did a quick thread search, didn't find anything on this: I'm coming from CM7. Did a titanium backup of all my apps, flashed 1.8, restored my apps and all the data (save game files etc.) weren't restored. So I figured that my backup was corrupted some way so I restored my nandroid backup to cm7 again, re-backedup my apps, reflashed same thing. Anyone have any idea why my app data isn't being restored?

My first guess is that it has to do with the differences with 2.2.2 and 2.3.3. I've done the reverse(going from 1.8 to CM7) and a lot of my app data wouldn't restore on cm7

Ever since ive upgraded to 1.8 my screen backlight wrong time out? Its set to 30 sec but nothing happens. Any suggestions? Also, my apps I have set to auto start on boot wont auto start. Like noLED and wave launcher for example.

A reboot or battery pull has fixed the backlight issue for me in the past. Haven't had any trouble with it for quite some time now. Also maybe something you have installed is is keeping the screen awake. But I would try a battery pull.

I've also noticed that since VD and TR 1.8 my battery life is ALOT worse than when I was on VC and TR1.7, which was REALLY good, better than anything I had before it..
I dropped over 35% this morning over 4 or 5 hours and didn't even really use my phone at all.. Is there something I did wrong in upgrading?

I as well have great battery life on 1.8. Ya maybe an app problem, or something as simple as GPS is on all the time. I did that once took me forever to figure out why my battery was draining. LOL

i tried that and it worked for about 30 minutes and then the backlight stayed on again =[ any suggestions for trying to single out the app that does this?

and also, could titanium backup be responsible for blocking the start up of apps when i boot?
UPDATE: i just moved the apps that wernt starting on boot to internal memory and they work fine now. on 1.7 i was able to move an app with a widget(like power amp) to my sd card and it was able to still load the widget after boot. on 1.8, i now have to keep it in internal memory.
