Just wanted to thank you guys for developing this ROM.

Unfortunately, I switched back to the stock rom (sprint) after I saw it was not as responsive on my phone and also had overheating issues. I did see my quadrant scores jump to around 944 (vs. 440 on stock) while on the ThunderROM. But for some odd reason it was not as responsive to me as the original rom moving from homescreen to other screens. I'll eagerly wait for the next revision and hopefully try it again.

Ever figure out the overheating issues? When my Moment would do the same, it was usually caused by a run away app. Use something like OS Monitor to watch running processes for CPU usage.

Anyone else have overheating?

wow, just got the phone tonight, and the first thing I did was toss this rom on it. I have to say, I did a quadrant score and got 452 bone stock, just put this rom on, with no other changes and scored a 955!! Awesome deal guys!!! thanks for the hard work.

overclocked it to 787, and its rocking out at 1195 now on the quadrant. going to keep messing around here! LOVE IT!

Have you flashed the stock ROM to ensure it's not this way be default? I'm pretty sure it is.

ROM is awesome, my quadrant score went from 480 to 1000! And now the wifi works.

I just wanted to thank you guys for all your hard work. My girlfriend and I got the phones at the same time, her jaw dropped when she saw her quadrant score on stock vs mine on ThundeRom, now it's only a matter of time before she asks me to put it on her phone, haha.

did this happend after you flashed ThundeRom? (were you able to use ThundeRom at all?)

make sure you did all the steps to flash this custom rom (as listed on first page of this thread) .. (try the steps again in order.. then flash the zip, then reboot. etc..).

Never figured it out. Tried OS Monitor but it seemed the only offending program eating up CPU cycles was the monitor itself.

I flashed the other ROM (http://forum.androidcentral.com/lg-...le-buildprop-edits-stock-stagefright-jit.html) that enabled JIT and HW accel but left everything at stock and that works pretty well enough for me with scores around 1000 on the quadrant.

No this wouldn't work but we have been thinking about doing a P500 variant. No promises but just know the idea is certainly on the table
