Just wanted to say thanks again for this ROM. I noticed the new update and got jittery lol. I do have a question though, using setcpu, what should the min value be around?

I saw someone else recommended it be around 245 so the unlock goes smoother and less glitchy. I can vouch for this. I had it at the lowest (122 i think) and it was pretty jumpy during the unlock, but setting it one notch higher fixed it perfectly. I also have a profile set to limit it to 320ish when the screen is off, just in case there's any rogue apps that happen to be running in the background..

You should be able to flash it without rebooting.I can't promise that it won't give you problems but it didn't to me when i did it.

Thanks. I flashed 1.6 and then deluxe build prop in the same recovery session, and the phone booted up fine. 1.6 looks great! One thing I noticed is that my Build number still says 'ThundeROM-V1.5S'. I'm not sure if I had held off on flashing the deluxe buildprop and just rebooted after flashing 1.6 if it would have listed my Build number as 'ThundeROM-V1.6' or not, but either ThundeROM 1.6 doesn't have an updated Build number or flashing deluxe buildprop drops the Build number back down to 1.5. I definitely have 1.6, though - very nice translucent notification tray!

Experiencing some pretty major keyboard lag that I didn't get in 1.5. Rebooting solves the problem for a little while. The lag holds across the 4 keyboards I have installed.

Narrowed down the keyboard lag to when using the built in wireless hotspot. Someone want to confirm this?

Tried that, no luck. I've also tried flashing the JIT only buildprop, and even manually cleaning out the thumbnails stored in the DCIM folder on the SD. Nothing. Looking through aLogcat, I am seeing the following message repeated every time I go into thumbnail view, seems connected:

D/skia (2255): -- SkImageDecoder::Factory returned null

Any ideas from that?

PS - And no, aside from loading Thunderom1.6 onto it to flash, haven't done anything with the SD since 1.5. TR1.6 was loaded by enabling USB on the phone and copying, never even removed the SD from the phone at all.

I've been looking into how to be able to add espn pack to ThundeROM,as soon as something is figured out it will be up for download.

Some might like 245,we in testing have not had any issues with it running the way we had it set. It's more of set it to what works best for you and your phone.Onething that we did do was remove the window animations that was causing a slight lag on unlock.Either way works.lol. I agree tho i run a profile for screen off and have it set to scale from 122min /320max.

Thats my fault i must of forgot to edit that buld.prop somehow.As you stated you are running 1.6 cause the notification menu. Sorry will make sure to fix.

Unless ksmith changed them up i don't think so,but i could be crazy.lol Ill see if i have any older screenshots.

Thanks guys, I had formatted the sd card in my hero before removing and putting it in my optimus - I'm wondering if that was one of the issues as well. The rebooting happened before I could install anything after a full wipe and fresh flash of 1.6.

I'll try formatting the card and only copying the necessary data back to reflash the rom. Thanks for the suggestions!

I formatted the card in recovery, but still the rebooting continued. So then I swapped it out (was using a class 6 4gbcard) with a 2 gb i had. Same issue, doesn't even make it through setup before rebooting (after wiping data, cache, and dalvik and flashing the rom again).

I'm going to try another rom and see what happens... Might be a trip to the sprint store if it continues.

I was going to say try running the max 600 boot from the second post but then i remembered said the reboot problem happened before. I'd alway give another rom a try to see but if it continues i would make sure to get it changed out before it becames worse,unusable.

hmm ill check that out might have to update the app and post a new zip for everyone to download that wants it. Ill get back to you with that.

Attached is the sprint nfl football apk not sure if it's newer or not.Also attached is fix-sprint-apps.zip,flash the zip install the app after reboot and everything should be working.

That was going to be my next test, however, I flashed nROM and had the same issue after I booted and installed setCPU and overclocked the kernel... appears I have a very weak link somewhere in hardware (which is maximized when overclocked). I'll try taking it into a store and see what they'll do for me, as it's doing it on stock as well.

I've done the same I tried to keep it installed for testing but after that I haven't used it.
