So now the kernel settings (748 max and 122 min) are active? Sorry for the nooby question, just wanted to make sure I didnt have to change anything after uninstalling.

No need to be sorry, yes the kernel is set to boot and run at (748max/122min) you don't have to set or adjust anything if you don't want to.
If you decide that running at 748 max it's for you then there a kernel that only runs 600max/122min attached to the second post. Both can be adjusted with setcpu or any overclocking app.

interesting issue i came across.

on v1.6 put my phone on to charge. (sometimes i will power off phone while its on charge). powered down. plugged in. and of course goes to to the LG sign..(and normally goes to the charging battery icon..)however since installing v1.6 it just powers back up when plugged in. even if while plugged in and power down (reg. power down, or using quick boot) it will just reboot it self. ignoring "power down".

tried a few things even wiping completely and still same thing..(even took battery out and back in)...(was just checking everything)..went back to v1.5 etc and no issue. (powers down while plugged in or after plugged in and stays off).

im guessing that with the deletion of "sprint boot - animation" the power off - charging battery image was also deleted?

really no biggie just curious, if having no sprint boot image causes this, ill still go to v1.6 just something i noticed.

Lmfao, good catch that completely slipped right by me,I don't think i have ever left one of my phones off so i didn't even think to check that. It's because the removal of all the junk in the boot.img.I thinkn i know how to fix it very easy. Thanks for letting us know ill get this addressed asap.

Yowzaa, flashed to 1.6 w/deluxe prop and I just benchmarked 1224.

That's just above the EVO!

I know the numbers are just "numbers" but that's still pretty cool.

To beezy, any luck with that error message I was seeing with thumbnails in the Gallery App? Is there any method to reinstall just that app (since it seems to be one included on the phone) to see if that fixes it?

No one else has seen an issue with your thumbnails disappearing in the Gallery App?

Quadrant score of 551 for ThundeROM 1.6 on my Optimus

SUGGESTION: Can the battery status be changed to something these old eyes can read? I can hardly read the percentage numbers.

Just checked my phone and thumbnails are working just fine, and since you never mentioned it anywhere that I see, have you tried re-flashing v1.6?

If not it couldn't hurt to try.

This is a feature as far as I am concerned. My battery dies sometimes and being able to just plug it in and it will boot up (like my old blackberry) is awesome.

Kudos on the new release, guys. Got excited (when it showed up), nervous (when I realized I flashed without making a new NANDROID backup), and then excited again once everything was rolling. Super snappy, no lag that I can see, and any issues were fixed with a reboot. I'm already psyched for the next update!

lmao although a funny post, we're gonna be fixing that soon. The phone charges when off just fine, we removed the images it displays while charging when turned off. I guess because neither of us EVER turn off our phones, we never noticed :D

Or we could just pull the move of a famous fruit logo phone making company, call it a feature, and be done with it. One more special feature of this release we forgot to mention ... you actually have to hold your phone a certain way for the ROM to work. I'll make sure i add that to the first post! kidding!! I actually don't mind the iphone (it is a great device), just really dislike the company that makes it.

Yeah, just tried a full reinstall. I've also tried flashing back to the xionia kernel. No luck. Finally tried flashing the explicit "JIT Only" buildprop just to make sure it wasn't anything stagefright related somehow... still nothing. After that, reflashed 1.6 again, and still nothing. In between each one, I've tried clearing the cache and dalvik-cache just to make sure nothing was hanging around. Really starting to wonder what's going on here. Might have to try moving all the photos off and then back on the phone in a bit just to see.

Don't forget the fact that its stuck on AT&T and Verizon........

Aside from that, is there any way to easily see now what is enabled in the kernel? The 1.5 version showed this to you via a little "j" or "s" after the ROM name if I recall correctly. That doesn't seem to show up anymore.

Likewise, is it okay to still use the buildprop files provided in the other thread in order to flash between those options? Anything change between 1.5 and 1.6 that would cause those to need an update?

Thanks.

Shows me "ThundeROM-Deluxe", though I flashed the Deluxe buildprops without rebooting, so no idea if that's the normal name or not D:

But as far as I can tell, there's no stability issues from any of the old flashables; I'm using the old Build Props, Zefie's Kernel (so I can hit 806mhz), and one of Nick's themes, and no issues :P

Mine shows an 's' after flashing deluxe. Unfortunately, it shows 1.5s and not 1.6s, but I definitely have 1.6 (snazzy transparent notification drop-down!). No big deal, beezy says it's something he'd need to fix in the buildprops, I think.

Just updated to version 1.6 and have been real impressed with the update. Since I came from Stock ROM I had to reinstall the Sprint Apps. One of the apps that I use is NASCAR Sprint Cup Mobile. I installed it from the sprint-apps zip file, and it installs just fine. But when I go run the app, I get an error. "NASCAR is only available for Sprint and Nextel Users", does anyone know how to get this to work?

Thanks.

Chris
