Not yet but this is something that is high up on our radar. When/if we have flash working we'll definitely do a release and include in the change log.

As I always have been leary of mediafire mirrors, I am throwing this up on my host.

This will provide you guys with an alternative mirror if you wish to use it, if you want me to take this down let me know, and if you want access to be able to manage this data folder yourself send me a message and I will make you an FTP account that way you can update the ROM as need be.

anyone else having this issue with the browser becoming slow and having to force stop it and restart it? this is in regards to the connection not the program itself.... after a force stop then a restart it seems to work well

This might be user error and its been a while since i used android (hero 1.6 rom) but my search button doesn't do anything on the home screen. I thought its suppose to bring up google search and keyboard gets activated. but for some reason when I press the search hard button nothing happens. What am I doing wrong? Flashing was successful, i'm still testing and playing with the new rom but this is the only thing i noticed so far.

short press does nothing on the home screen. long press opens google voice search. go into something like contacts and short press and it will bring up the screen you're looking for. Welcome to a phone other than HTC

Yep I noticed that it works fine in web browser as well as contacts. Just wanted to double check about the home screen.

I went from Hero (1.6) to WebOS to LG (2.2) and wow what a difference less than a year made in android. Love it

Great Rom guys, I appreciate all the hard work put into this.
Phone definitely feels snappier, can't wait to O.C. it again. I had it O.C. for a few days and wanted to see how this rom would perform without O.C.
I had an issue with an Exchange account not sending email, but I'm not sure if this is a rom issue or something else. I deleted the account off the phone, re-created it and it seems fine.
Angry Birds even seems to run without the lag it sometimes has.

If I do a backup using clockwork before flashing this ROM will I be able to restore back to stock?

Does this ROM include a kernel that can be over clocked? If not, what kernel would you recommend.

clockwork is a use-at-your-own-risk until otherwise posted. nandroid may or may not perform correctly. zip flashing does not. Please use GNM's recovery until smccloud says clockwork is safe.

And I'm strill trying to get clockwork working. just slow when the main dev on it won't reply at all

Boo. Can this be done via Titanium backup? Or do we need to go and find all the .apks and market apps we had before? And what about settings, user data, etc, for those apps?

ok another stupid question. i'm going through android tips and tricks and one of them is calendar search and it says to do this:
Built-in: Tap Home > Menu > Search > Searchable items . Calendar ON/OFF.

I just tried it and when I click on search in menu nothing happens. Am i doing something wrong?

when you're talking custom roms the best way to do it is to just do it fresh and do it right. the instructions do state something like you need to erase all of your cache and all of your data from the boot up menu.
