yes. i did all 3 required wipes. im a noob in the sense that i dont know much about the coding, but this is my second rooted device so i understand the basics and i followed the instructions down to the last letter.

Cannot Download any apps.
Every time I have tried to download an app from the Market it will not let me accept the permissions. I keep pressing the button but it is unresponsive. Please help.

Android bug ... To fix
Menu > manage applications > all applications (tab) > scroll down click market - click force stop - clear cache - clear data
Open the market back up, accept the service agreement, download app.
some app developers include these instructions for the description of their app. See pocket legends description for example.

Same thing happens to me when I try to overflash the rom again. My Wifi stopped working completely one day and I tried to reflash the rom with no luck. I had to go back to a 2 week old Nandroid backup to get the wifi working again
Not sure why you cant reflash the rom like all the other ones I have used on previous Android phones.

That is a failure due to data not being wiped completely. You need to wipe everything and reflash the rom. If after you wipe it still fails then try this. Boot into recovery,wipe everything. Power off(pull Battery), boot back into recovery,wipe everything again then flash the rom.

i tried both options and its a no go. wouldnt work even with a nandroid back up.
EDIT: I should add that it remembers networks that I input passwords for, it just won't stay connected.

This will not work for you. This is built for the optimus s which is a cdma device. The optimus t is gsm. These are not cross-compatible.

i'll keep everyone posted on her feelings about it. She is about ready to take the phone back and go back to her rumor2 god help me.
She will most likely be your harshest critic ever.
My opinions so far is that it's very swift and responsive. We'll see how it goes after she gets facebook, angry birds, and all the other stuff running on it.
on the note of battery life can anyone tell me what the wipe battery stats feature does in the custom recovery for this phone?

Why is it that every other rom I have used you can just reinstall on top to fix all errors as it replaces all system files but leaves your data files intact. I used to do it quite often as errors do happen at times. Like when my Wifi stoped working last week and the only way I could fix it is to go back to a 2 week old nandroid backup, which sucked losing all the custimization I had done the weeks prior to making that backup.
What makes this so different than the roms I have used in the past?

Looking forward to new updatesjust wanted to say thanks. I rooted and flashed over ThundeROM yesterday on my optimus s. Im really happy with my decision and my optimus is running the best its ever ran in the last month that i have owned it!
quick question tho.....i got the super user and titanium backup and cachemate all on here, is there any thing else i should put on here that would make ThundeROM run that much better or is the Rom optimized enough already? As in, Do i need something like setCPU or anything? Thanks!!!

SetCPU or Overclock Widget will serve no o/c purpose, unless you flash a custom kernel onto the phone (Correct me, if I am wrong KSinNY), as the kernel that is in this ROM does not have any clock speeds available over 600 Mhz.
I guess you could slow the phone down, if you wanted, but I am sure you wouldn't want that, except for maybe when the phones screen was off.
I have read somewhere in this forum, that every speed below 600 MHz, actually uses the same amount of juice, so there is no real need to attempt to underclock the phone.
Yea i read up on that yesterday. I'm not looking to so much over or underclock but optimize my phone to save as much battery as possible through out the day. But like i said i was really just wondering what if any apps or kernels would compliment ThundeROM and my phone if anything....

Personally I use Xionia Kernel and have it run at a maximum of 768 MHz, unless the screen is off, and then I let it run at a minimum of 245 MHz. I use the phone pretty heavily, but I also keep it near a charger. When I optimize the battery, it lasts at least 12 hours that day even with moderate to heavy use.
I optimize like once a month, I don't know if that is too much or not enough, but that is what I do. Hope this helps.

BEFORE DOING THIS MAKE SURE YOUR BATTERY IS FULLY CHARGED DO NOT DO THIS IF IT IS NOT AS IT WILL CAUSE IT TO BE INACCURATE
It's easy if your rooted and have a custom recovery installed.
Turn off your phone
hit and hold the volume down and home button while turning the phone on (this'll pull up the custom recovery)
then use the volume down button to get to -WIpe
Select wipe by hitting the button the buttun just right of wipe
Use volume down to go down to and select -Wipe Battery Stats
then after wipe is complete hit back button
then -Reboot System Now
Viola your done
