So let me know if i got this right i just got my phone back from lg for a warranty repair its updated to zvd i need to revert back to v9 root it install custom recovery run a backup wipe it flash thunderrom 1.6.2 update to zvd useing lg updater flash 1.8.2. Does that sound right?

Ahh thanks, I didn't read that part. Is there anything I could do to make this ROM run more smoothly when playing games? I get lag in Fruit Ninja which is really frustrating.

I have a question.. Not to be picky but its driving me nuts! I use TRom and I have HORRIBLE issues with the unlock key... yea i know everyone complains and we are told its an issue stock as well.. Im fine with that. But why the heck is it that when I use CM7 Scott Pilgrim Mod I have NO ISSUES! I LOVE TRom! Just wish I could get the screen lock fixed! WORST IS WHEN YOUR ON A CALL!!!! CANT HANG UP OR PUSH BUTTONS sometimes while on calls... Sorry for the rant but wanted to know if there is ANYTHING we can do about it. I would do it myself but im not a pro with Linux or Android OS in general...

Normally the Slider. I dont like it but I would rather slide than use a pattern. I lock my phone like a crack head scratches his neck lmao. Either one I have issues with, but it also doesnt explain why the phone wont come back from a black screen when on a call... Thanks for troubleshooting w me

Ok, there is a build.prop edit that Nick7 has on nROM that some people have said fixes the CM7 issue. I bet it would fix your issue also.

Do you feel comfortable editing your build.prop? I could type up instructions if you do. You will need to get Root Explorer from the market.

Ok, when in Root Explorer:

open "system" folder

toggle the button at the top of the page that says "Mount R/W" to "Mount R/O"

long press "build.prop" then select "open in text editor"

scroll all the way down to the bottom of the text and on a new line, type "mot.proximity.delay=25" (no quotes though)

press menu and save changes.

It will backup your original and it will be named build.prop.bak.

Reboot and give it a shot.

EDIT: Should always make a nandroid backup before anything though

I switch between diff roms. I have been testing out all the diff options. TRom is my fav and the one I have the issue with.

Just throwin this out there since you are switching between roms alot. It's best to wipe all three (data, cache, dalvik) before flashing, unless you are just restoring nands. Nick's nROM is the only one that claims you don't have to wipe data before a flash.

I can't guarantee anything but if you were flashing TR over CM7 without data wipe for example, I could see there being proximity issues. Not sure if that is what you were doing, but just wanted to throw that out there.

Yea I always wipe all of them. Im kinda a freak i guess. I do the same with all my computers. Always trying new OS or ReImaging just to make it new again. My Droid is my baby now... She gets a new ROM every day if not a few times a day lol. Idle Hands.. THANK YOU!

Ever since 1.8 my Adfree has not been working. It says it's been granted superuser perms when I boot the phone up but I still get ads in Angry Birds, euchre, and everywhere else. I tried unistalling and reinstalling. Grrrrr
