I have. My battery seems to die a lot quicker, especially when it's just idle. It's losing about 8% or so an hour when just idle and minimal usage. Seems to be a little worse then 1.8.2 I think, but still a good ROM.

Had a similar issue before..... have you tried doing a full charge, rebooting into recovery, wiping battery stats and then running your batt down till its almost dead(I went down to 2%) and fully charging again. Worked for me....

When you wipe data, batt stats gets wiped also( I believe)

just started using go launcher and i must say i've been missing out! thanks for recommending some of you guys

when i try to turn the wifi on with the power manager widget, it won't connect to my remembered network. so i go into wireless settings and find that wifi keeps turning off, and back on, and back off by itself. Running the latest build, with VD.

a reboot fixes the problem. temporarily.

any ideas?

I've had the same issue... I re-flashed the ROM and that seemed to fix it. It hasn't happened again for me unless I switch to another ROM. But a second flash seems to fix it for me at least...

did you wipe and reflash, or just a reflash.

Have either of you wiped data? I had the same problem until I wiped Data, Cache and Dalvik Cache and re-flashed v1.8.3, now my battery life is even better than when I was on v1.7! That also gave me a chance to pick and choose which apps I wanted to restore with Titanium Backup since I wasn't using all of them. I may have also had an app that was hogging battery, but I have not had any problems yet.

Seemed my battery life was short as well. I wiped data, cache and dalvik then reflashed TR1.8.3. Restored apps using Titanium. We will see how it goes.

Please keep us posted. I am trying out a different Rom at the moment (mainly out of curiosity because I have really only used ThundeROM).

I haven't noticed a battery life problem with 1.8.3. Have been running it for about a week now.

OK, I seem to have an issue with keeping it from fading out when plugged in. I also use my phone as an alarm clock, but I noticed (in the middle of the night) that the screen was black, instead of the green floating time that Clock uses as a screen saver. If I remember correctly, the vanilla OS had an option in the Display menu to not dim when plugged in.

I also use the phone as my primary GPS in my service van. It didn't fade to black as long as Google Maps was doing it's thing, but if I turned on Pandora or was in a phone call, it would fade to black. Even though it was plugged into my cigarette lighter.

Any chance I'm just missing the switch somewhere? And if not, any chance we can have one implemented?

I was having problems with the phone auto hanging up. I'm currently trying out a different rom, but it wasn't happening until I upgraded to newest version.
