*DEAL ALERT* Verizon htc one on sale at Best Buy for 49.99

picked mine up this afternoon, deal was to good too pass up. i believe the deal ends tonight.

Man this blue is beautiful!!! My favorite phone since I got my first android phone(droid eris). Worth every penny!

$50 was just too good to pass up now I have to figure out if I like the one better or the gs4 so my wife can have the other. So far the one is really nice and the build quality is on another level the gs4 feels so,I hate to say it but cheap

Picked up my HTC ONE Blue at BB yesterday. Was going to get silver, but the guy convinced me otherwise. So far, love the phone. Went back to Android after having an iphone for two years. One BIG issue I had was that I wasn't able to receive text messages from iphone users. I was on with VZW customer support for two hours this AM, they even had to contact APPLE support to see what they could do. Long story short. Although I had deactivated my iphone 5 my messages were still appearing to be imessage to iphone users. Apparently, that has become a semi known issue. Ended up having to deactivate HTC ONE, reactivate iphone 5 (make sure imessage was off), deactivate iphone, and reactivate HTC ONE. It was a long process, but in the end worked out.

Sort of off topic, but I had a customer come into my location early last week asking me to show them the HTC One and tell them about the features, so that they can "go to Best Buy and get it for $50." I just laughed and asked if they were being for real.

I'm guessing you work for Verizon?
Not sure I get what your point is.
Is it not your job to answer questions while on the clock? Do you work for that particular store or the Verizon corporation?
If your help aided in the sale of a Verizon product regardless of where it was purchased; doesn't that equate to job well done?

If you worked in sales, would you have assisted a customer who made it known their intentions to go to another location to purchase something? When my wife and I were looking at getting a truck, should I have walked into ABC Ford and asked them to show me the F-150 so that I can go to Acme Ford and get it because they were running a special? I wouldn't have been upset if he asked me to show him the phone so that he can think about it, do research, talk to the wife, any other blow off response. And no, I do not work for Verizon Wireless Corporate. I work at the district level for a premium retailer.

I DID offer to give him a deal on accessories, and give him $50 off. So it is not like I did not try

If that's the case and you have no affiliation with Verizon I can understand your apprehension to help him.

I didn't get in on the $49 deal, but last weekend I was able to get a price match to $139 (VERIZON30 code) and keep my unlimited plan thanks to the Verizon glitch. I'll take that tradeoff all day long!

I picked up a blue HTC One last weekend and now looking for a case. What cases are you guys using with it and what color? I really don't want to cover this thing up but I know how clumsy I am. Thanks

In my opinion, that is better than getting the phone for $49.99 and going to a tiered data plan.

I have the SEIDIO case in blue (with the kickstand). This is my 3rd phone and these cases have saved my life many many times. I wouldn't use anything else. I will admit as in other reviews there's a drop of wiggle room in the case for the One, but alternatively, I could never get the cases off the other phones they were so tight. I haven't seen it as an issue.

your offer sucked in comparison to be frank. and you aren't a car salesman.. when people go into phone stores they aren't looking to deal with a salesman. if you work for verizon corporate you suck at your job. if you work for some authorized retailer then its par for the course I guess.

The car analogy was a valid point, so you are mistaken. Also, you are mistaken as I do not work for either corporate nor an authorized retailer. If you bothered to read my posts, which I am assuming you have not, you would see that I work for a PREMIUM retailer, and yes there is a difference. Also, my position is not sales, but inventory management and control for a district. Lastly, if I was even able to sell the phone for the $49.99, them my company would have lost money. Besides, he did make his intentions known when he got there.
So tell me, when people walk into a phone STORE, what kind of people are they looking to deal with? As I look around the store I am visiting today, there are only SALES people working. So tell me, what kind of people do you think work at a phone store?

I bought 2 HTC Ones from best buy and the have the same cases and have not noticed any wiggle room at all. Its seems nice and snug and I am surprised the case comes off without an issue when I need it too..
