I wouldn't have expected many fixes for older Pixels at this point.
Google's good like that, they'll have the 3's running like tops in no time. I was reading through the fixes, they're covering a lot of issues. Most other manufacturers would take 10 times as long to get around to those fixes.
That's why I wouldn't worry about buying a new pixel..... even if it has bugs they'll be fixed quick. No waiting around for those 2 month/3 month/whenever month updates to hopefully fix something. Every month a guaranteed update to protect your phone, fix problems, give you new features, and the newest os first. Peace of mind is a premium to me ;-)
anyone else is call screen not working on the pixel 3XL or the pixel 3 after the update?
Definite improvement woth apps staying in memory without reloading
You Know what I found with that before the update, not having battery optimize Android system
Yes....true....but some apps would still dissapear prematurely and I'd rather have optimization on.
Yeah I agree , by time i wanted to post it was waiting on my replacement forgot about it .
This was a big reason I switched from Samsung - I got tired of crossing fingers and hoping fixes would come someday. Glad to see this happening as I had heard with Pixel 3's. Downloading now. (PS - Thanks for the heads up on the time it takes to download - couldn't tell if it was stuck or not.)
