Decisions decisions

First, Merry Christmas AC friends.
I'm upgrading next week from a Moto X2 and I haven't been able to make a final decision on which phone to go with. I love alot about my MX2 but the lack of fingerprint reader, terrible camera, curved back/thickness, and no Marshmallow are reason to change. I think I've narrowed it down to the Note 5 or V10. I'm worried about going with Samsung due to all of the Touchwiz horror stories, and I've never used an LG. I want a phone with support longevity, that lasts the length of my contract, and I'm not sure the V10 is that phone. The S6E+ is a sexy phone too, just not sure how practical the edges are for a daily driver.
Any help making this decision would be greatly appreciated.

That's fair! How much do you think you will use the SPen?
Most people I talk to say they rarely use it, but I'm hoping to use it enough to eliminate the need for a notepad throughout my day. But if I turn into one of those people that never uses it, then why not just go with a S6E+ ?

Well I personally think the edge phones are hard to hold and hard to keep protected (just my opinion lol) And the SPen is great for jotting notes. You shouldn't need to carry a notepad if you go Note 5.

I wouldn't worry about whether or not you use the Spen because every phone has one or two extra features people don't use. You could just think about it as buying it for the screen size, exceptional camera, and good sized battery etc. As for the Edge, I don't like the exposed screen edge personally. I personally would recommend the N6P but if you're worried about not having an actual brick and mortar store to return to if required, that's up to you.

You can get the 6P at Best Buy now... just sayin' ;)

Don't want to add to your dilemma... but if you are looking at that class, it'd be smart to consider all the top options.

(In full disclosure, I have a 6P and it's a hell of a phone)
