Decrease in battery life since March update

It's the real unfortunately thing that most people just don't give Google enough credit for the Pixel phones. People usually want the fastest, flashiest, or most expensive phone money can buy! I've heard numerous reports that the SD 888 processor isn't so battery friendly either from the S21 Ultra phones. My phone always seems to shock and amaze me. Like I said, I usually use my laptop or my wifes' iPad at home for my Google services. However, I can't seem to completely drain my phone very easily which is very comforting to know.. Also, it does seem to charge up really quickly at home.

Since the March update the battery indicator big has returned for me, seems to be stuck then suddenly jumps right down to almost empty

Still having issues. I can say I have absolutely not been on my phone for 3 hours today. So there must be something of an issue with my phone calculating screen on time

Have you downloaded any recent third-party apps that might be the culprit? If not, I might suggest booty into safe mode and see if you can tell a difference in battery.

Heck yeah exactly, that’s what I’m saying! I’m not putting the developer preview on my phone. Especially on my daily driver! Way too buggy. I’ll wait for the OTA roll out of the beta program officially just like we always do.

Agreed. I got day and a half plus 6 hours sot and 31% left yesterday. Never known such good battery life before. Gonna put the public beta onto it.

Everyone, so today I was busy troubleshooting my Google assistant on my pixel buds, and doing a bunch of other stuff on my phone for most of the day. Today was a very every battery usage day for my pics 05. Here’s a screenshot of my battery usage does it seem normal? When I get to work this morning at 7 AM, my battery was at 100% and when I left work at 3:30 it was at 35%, and battery saver mode was checking in. Does it seem normal for batteries it on heavy usage? I’m about to hardwire my phone to hope to God that fixes the Google assistant activation of my pixel buds finally and possibly a battery issue, but I want to hear from everyone else on this form as well. Thanks for any help and suggestions! Mind you, this was about three hours and 40 minutes of screen on time as well.
