Decrypting and Extracting 7zip Archive files using Samsung My Files manager?

I had been encrypting my documents using 7zip on my Windows PC computer then uploading them to my cloud service provider. The problem, is I need to know if the built-in Samsung My Files can decrypt 7zip or any ZIP files if I need to decrypt them by entering the password using my S10e phone.

I find it very strange that 7zip does not have any mobile app support.

I can test this out, but if it gives me an error that file cannot be extracted or any other error message, then please provide suggestions or alternatives on what might be appropriate for this.

Please note, that I would preferably like to stick with the Samsung My Files app because its not bloated, no ads, and its straight forward.

Thanks!

My Files works like My Computer used to workin Windows - it just sows files, if doesn't unzip zip files (and 7 Zip does a lot more than just zip files, it does tar files, gzip files and a whole lot more). For Android, try ZArchiver .

Thank you so much, just what I needed.

Can I still use Samsung My Files app for regular use and only use ZArchiver whenever I need to Compress or Unzip files?

Will this cause issues if two file managers (Samsung My Files and ZArchiver) are installed at the same time?
