Default Android Email App not showing email content

[Android Central Question]

I just noticed in the past month that my default email app for my Samsung galaxy s6 active sometimes isn't showing the email content from emails. I've already tried deleting the Gmail account that's attached to it then reassigning it to the email app and cleared cache, etc. Nothing is working. I can see the first sentence of the email when I'm in the preview section but no content shows up when i click it. Thoughts?

Welcome to Android Central! Is this only for your Gmail, or is it also happening with other email accounts (if you have any others)?
