Hey everybody! I was wondering if someone could help me out in replacing these fugly, confusing HTC sense signal bars with the default android ones (the ones with only four bars). I see the default ones when I boot my phone before sense loads all the way and I savor it....Haha. Any help on hacking this would be greatly appreciated :)

You have to be rooted. Then you can flash a theme that is for odexed stock ROMs.

Always do a nandroid before flashing anything.

Yes, I am rooted and have flashed things before. However, I am on stock but I can't remember if I am odexed or deodexed (because I've flashed certain updates in the past) so, is there any way I can tell if I am deodexed or odexed? Or will if have to try and remember? Also, I tried searching and obviously no one seems to have done this so far so will I have to make a custom theme myself and how would I start off going about that? Thanks.

If you're using stock ROM then you're probably odexed, mixing them will make things not work right, if at all.

Here's a start to make themes:
xda-developers - View Single Post - [HOW TO] Manuals for creating a theme

Usually it is easier to flash a base custom stock ROM then flash a theme or mod of your liking. There are plenty of signal and battery mods out there but most are for deodexed ROMs.
