Defective GPS

I believe my wife's new Infuse has a bad gps. It hasn't locked on to not one sat after 5 days of trying. I've sat outside with clear skies and waited but no lock. GPS status says it's picking up about 6 sat but it won't lock on not one. This phone is definitely going back when the GSII comes out.

The GPS needs to be tweaked. Mine was real slow as well but not now after tweaking it. search for *#*#3214789650#*#*

I did that already. It's not slow, it just ain't working at all. Waiting an hr for a lock is not working. Waiting 5 mims for a lock is slow.

try app gps status. reset gps data and redownload

well then you are right, it is dead. take it to a warranty exchange center in your area for a certified refurb device.
