Don't take anything Oxn says seriously. You'll live longer and have to type less.Lately, I sometimes wonder if Oxn isn't a group of people sharing a one user name and password just for the fun of it. I've seen it before.
I'm just curious, I know about all the basic phone stuff and processors. But what's everyone so concerned about this unlockable bootloader for? What's it even mean and how's it affect the phone?
So wheres that drawn picture Shizero?
Was the "all will be revealed" picture you posted like a month ago, done by you?I'm about 10 hours into it. Coming along pretty well if I do say so myself, and I don't use the term "well" to describe my works lightly.
Probably won't be ready before the fourth though. Only an hour or so to work on it tonight, then I've got other plans.
You know youve made it, when haters hate
Oh and yes they will underclock rather than overclock the processors. So its probably the 4460.

But nothing would make an impact like having a 1.5 Ghz processor AND superior battery life. Heck, even if they keep the battery life the same, with a processor running that high they are still coming out a little better in the end.
@Oxn: Haha nah, that wasn't mine. Just put the captions in![]()
I've been following this thread anonymously for awhile, but I wanted to thank the OP for all the info and the members for the great questions.
I think my biggest concern now is whether the Bionic will utilize a 1st gen LTE antenna (that from which I understand is quite large and built primarily for dongles) or a thinner, more form-based 2nd gen antenna.
From the leaked pics, I hope with the enlarged length and width they were able to keep it relatively thin, hopefully .5" or less? Any info on the antenna or depth of the phone would be awesome! Thanks
Most likely 1st gen but if you look at the droid charge it isnt really that thick. From the leaked pics the bionic looks pretty thin for an LTE phone.
blazing fast speed yes, but it keeps going in and outI agree, the Charge is a manageable size. I'd prefer to have it thinner than my OG Droid which I think is .51"? I guess I'd like a thinner device, but now that I've learned that a current smartphone owners will have unlimited 4G, I think I rather deal with the 4G thickness and have these blazing fasts speeds.
Thanks for the reply!![]()

speeds are consistent. But the conenction drops alot. Many reviewers agree. Watch a phonedog review on the Droid Charge. Not consistently fast speeds or are you getting some fringe 4G service by being on the outskirts of their 4G markets?
