Delay between answering calls and hearing caller

About a week or so ago I started having an annoyance when people call me. The phone will ring and i will hit answer. There then is an about 5+ second delay before either of us can hear each other. Its getting annoying because you answer the phone and say hello, you dont hear a response, you say it again, etc etc etc and then finally its working seconds later.

any suggestions to try to fix this? i am running syndicate rom and genocide 2 kernel. i havent installed anything lately that i think would be causing this. anybody else have this same problem?

This would have to be software related at first guess only reason I say this is because you are rooted and running a ROM and kernel package. This could very well be the kernel causing some lag on wake up from the call. Make sure your minimum is set at no lower than 200 Mhz for a clean wake up. Seems like for many when its at 100 Mhz on the low end it causes wake up issues...

I would make your backups and do a fresh install and see how it works. If that doesn't resolve it then you can start thinking about it being a hardware related issue.

Hate to say it, but I've been having this problem lately, too. Just add it to the list I guess. I'm on EC05 + root so I think that may help to rule out the ROM/kernal. I'm waiting for the GB release, but since the silence on that has been deafening, it might be time to pick a ROM and go for it...

I have the same problem. I am running SRF 1.2 with Twilight Zone kernel.

I wish Samsung would just release the source for GB so the devs could give us a great build.

Finnaly someone with same problem as me
I am having the exactly the same problem and it's beeing frustrating! Tried 100 of things but nothing helped me.
I am from Europe, using HTC Sensation XE Gingerbread.
Did any of you solved that problem of hearing caller to hear xou?
