Hey guys...first post here:

I had an un-activated Droid X, rooted on stock rom, flashed CM7 with TeamBlackHat's installer (correctly) but then trying to nandroid back, I accidentally deleted the 'boot' in Bootstrap. Now I cannot get past the motorola logo, cannot access bootstrap, or connect to a computer. The only thing I can do is get into the stock recovery. I have tried resetting from here, and it does nothing. I have also tried getting both a copy of 2.2.1 and of the CM7 TeamBlackHat and renaming them 'update.zip' (not at the same time) and telling recovery to apply update.zip but it gets a hashfail every time. Any ideas to restore boot sector or something I'm missing??

Thanks!

Noob question: What is SBF and how is it done??

Edit: Nevermind...Found a tutorial. Thanks for the tip, will check in if it doesn't work.

Remember you will still have backups on your SD depending on which route you go again just be careful.
