I am unable to delete recurring events from my Google Calendar using any calendar app!? Editing an event (say move or anything) creates a single event next to the recurring one and I have two events!
I tried to search for a solution but it seems to be a known problem Google is doing nothing about!
Can anyone help please?

You can delete it using a PC or long press the entry in your phone and switch off the repeat option or delete the entry completely.

Thank you, but I do not want to use a PC, nor do I want to delete the entire recurring event!

Well, switch off the repeat option
Why would I have to do that! I know this and this is not an option for me! I have hundreds of repeating events, I cannot switch them off whenever I want to change the time or the detail in one of them! Thank u for your suggestions.

"Why would you have to do that?" Obviously if the repeat option is on you need to turn it off. Why isn't it an option? Are you saying this option isn't displayed when you select an entry? What calendar app/device are you using?

No I am saying if I have a daily recurring event at 8 am to take my morning pills and for one day I want to take them at 8:30am, if I edit the series for “only this event”, I see the new event (single) at 8:30 but the original 8am remains and surely at 8am I get a notification and also at 8:30!
If I stop the repeat it will stop the repeat of all the series and will then revert the series to a single event starting at the original initial date which may be a few months back, and what use is that to me!?
On my iPhone, Mac and PC changing one event in a series actually changes that single event ONLY and keeps the series before and after the edited date intact, it removes (changes) the edited date occurrence as I want it.
Am I clear?

Your posts have been unclear. Your opening post " I am unable to delete recurring events from my Google Calendar using any calendar app!?" which I answered.

Recurring events are either on or off.
If you decide to take your medication 30 minutes later why change the calendar? If you need a reminder then create a one off event. Those are the only options you have to work with.
Clearly it's an Android thing so use your iPhone Mac or PC

As follow up I can't replicate what you are asking, on a PC. Perhaps you could make the changes in your browser which should then sync with your calendar app.

Actually if I delete ONE SINGLE event from the series it WILL NOT DELETE! so my subject line was ½ correct :-)!
I still cannot delete or edit one event in a series the original occurrence for the edited date remains intact!!
Pls excuse me English is my 2nd language.

I know I can use my iPhone, Mac, PC, iPad and whatever!!! I want to use my Android device and have it work correctly! Am I asking too much!?

You stated earlier it's a known problem that Google know about. Until such time they address it you are stuck with it. We have no connection with Google so I am a little confused as to what you expect us to do. It's no that you are asking too much, it's just that you are asking the wrong people.

Best of luck, I hope you get it resolved.

Using the Google Calendar system.

Which phone?
Which version of android?
Which carrier?
Which calendar app?

I do similar stuff with the CalenGoo app, and it works like a charm. When editing a reoccurring event, CalenGoo will ask if I want to edit this one instance or all the future instances.

Can you clarify -- are you using the Google Calendar app, or some other calendar app? It definitely works for me on my Pixel 3 XL using the Google Calendar app.

Using the Google Calendar app on the Android works, all apps including native iPhone work on the iPhone but not on the Android: Android calendar apps (except Google Calendar app) do not delete a single occurrence in a series nor do they update a single occurrence! They do create a single updated event but keep the series showing as is on the date we are trying to update.
I will take a look at the CalenGoo app and see what that is and how it works.
Thank u all for the feedbacks, I am using Android 9.1 on a Huawei Mate 20 Pro, Business Calendar, Android native Calendar and Business Calendar Pro.

OK, I just download and installed CalenGoo on Android. The app does not delete a single event in a series, the series remain there on the day I am deleting.
Editing an event in a series created a new single edited event BUT the series remain intact and showing as original on the same day and it also gives reminder alarms at the original time (and at the new event time)!
I do not know if I am confusing you guys but u need to create and work with recurring event series and see what I mean.
And, I am not expecting you to be Google Support but I am expecting all of us to pitch in and help each other with our experiences and expertise.
Thank u.
