Demo units at best buy !!!

I cant believe how many of you are dissing the Aura Glow. Im sorry but are some people in here color blind or something cause i saw it at best buy and i see that rainbow effect oil slick neo chrome look as i thought it would be. I ordered the Aura Glow.

I don't know that I'm dissing it, just saying that it's not my favorite of the color options, at least of the options available from Best Buy. If I couldn't get the blue one, the glow might be my 2nd choice, though.

I don't hate it, but for me it's not the best color. I don't like the idea of the mirrored finish long term, but it's a stunner from certain angles.

Agree.. I think it's a great color... Especially with lights just imagine it out about town in the evening.. I also went with the blue bc I think it's electric and love the sides in blue too.. Plus it will be my first blue phone..

I seen it and didn't like it. Who cares anyway, it's probably going in I case. Yes, you can get a clear case that will yellow over time.

The do have cases with tempered glass backs that end up coming out... They usually don't yellow.

So get a cheap clear for now and when the tempered come out pick up one of those.

A couple of thoughts after seeing Note 10 + at Best Buy:

1) The 10 + is smaller than I thought due to small bezels. It is actually very close in overall size to my current Note 8!
2) Really wanted to like the Aura Glow color but it is more of a very reflective silver mirror back that is a finger print magnet. The Aura Blue and the Aura Black are also finger print magnets but didn't seem as bad as the Aura Glow. I'll probably get the Blue or Black.

My thoughts, exactly! I stopped in BB yesterday and compared my N8 against the 10+ so that I didn't have buyer's remorse. I was delighted that the 10+ is only a tad bigger than the 8. I was also very happy that I ordered blue after seeing it in person.

Just checked out the demo units at a local T-Mobile store. Reviewers all said the design of the Note10 and Note10 Plus were "identical." But I noticed the metal chassis on the sides of the Plus is actually much thinner than the regular version. Looks a bit odd, and makes the beautiful, polished metal chassis stand out a little less on the bigger model. I wonder why the design is different though. I don't think most people will notice or care, but it's interesting from a design and engineering perspective. I wonder if it has anything to do with the 5G antennas. I know these aren't 5G models but they didn't want to have to mass produce 4 different bodies for what is essentially just 2 different phones.

So I played with a Note 10+ this afternoon at a local Best Buy, and as nice as the screen looks, I felt no difference in using that phone compared to my current Note 8... The experience was a bit disappointing, and the S-Pen felt very gimmicky, only the click to snap the picture is a useful feature, but that was there last year on the Note 9....
Anyone else felt the same way using this phone?

I have the Note8 also, and I did not have the same experience that you had. I was very much impressed by both devices. The Note10 because of how small it really is compared to the Note8, but it's still very comfortable in the hand, and even at 1080p, the screen is very nice!

The Note10+ was even more impressive to me, because the punch out for the camera was hardly noticeable. The screen is so nice and big, that I literally didn't see the punch out because of how low everything else was compared to it. I like the weight of both devices compared to my Note8. I preorded the Note10+ on day one, so I am even more excited to see it. I will admit, I am let down at the lack of color options for the 512GB version. I wasn't as impressed by the Aura Glow color in person, but the actual device images and videos online, make it look better than it was in person (IMO). I would have went for the Blue if it was a 512GB option. And I felt like the black color had more shine to it in person, as opposed to in pictures, where it looks like a flat color.

And the dual speaker sound on both the 10 and the 10+ are so much better than the single speaker on the Note8

Well, it sounds like we're actually agreeing on most of it... As I said, the screen was impressive, camera is a nice upgrade, but the daily use experience doesn't seem that different from the Note 8... I'm not seeing much to get overly excited about it...

Good for you - I checked one at Best Buy only because I've never had a Note before - was surprised at how comfy it was to hold - much like a delicate pastry that you can't eat.

I saw one at Sam's, but they had it so locked down it may as well have been in a bank vault.
