Desktop charging dock

It's been little over a month since the Incredible came out, and no desktop multimedia charging dock. What gives!?

The EVO had one before the device was even released!

Any ideas why they're stalling on making one?

That's be awesome to have a dock like most Blackberries. I come from BB and love the dock. I definitely look forward to see more Android phones with docking station/charge pod

Yeah, I'm feeling that Droid Incredible as a phone is being skipped all around.

We still don't have any dedicated peripherals, still haven't gotten root access, Apparently there still isn't even a simple app to turn the flash LED into a flashlight.

Exactly my thoughts as well! When I saw the LED app on the front page today I had gotten even more frustrated. Incredible is VZW's #1 smartphone right now and it sure doesn't feel that way.

Amen to that dude. Come on 3rd party what are you guys waiting for? Still no really good cases either. Thats the 1 thing about apple i will give them they have the best 3rd party accessories but we have the best 3rd party apps. 3rd party apps > 3rd party crap.

I agree. I have been watching for a charging dock. I can't believe there isn't one yet. I think with the Droid Shadow/Extreme we will see the Incredible go by the wayside. It is a great phone. Just not getting the support I thought it would.

I am disappointed in the accessories for the Incredible. No docks, like the Motorola Droid, or ways to easily connect to the home/car stereo. I did find a dock for the Eris, but nothing yet for our Incredibles... sigh...

You'd think with all the complaints about short battery life, there'd be a wide variety of chargers, LOL.

it seems like this always happens with vzw spring released phones. the big attention getters are released/advertised/hyped in the late fall in time for christmas. Fall '09 = Storm I, Fall '10 = Droid... anyone know what phones were released in the spring those year?

If it helps, the Nexus One didn't get its desktop charging dock until ~3.5 weeks after it came out. And much longer for the car dock...

I think the problem with a dock for the Incredible is the port is on the side instead of the bottom. If they would have left in on the bottom they could have just retooled the Eris dock with a microUSB port. But, if anyone finds one, let us know. For now, I'm getting a mini to micro USB adapter and using my Eris dock.

Had the same lack of support/accessories for my last VZW phone, the LG Dare. It received one firmware update (in store, not OTA) and nothing after that.

I've made my own too, but they're not as good as an actual dock would be - you know, one that charges while it's looking rather nice and sleek on your desk. It's very frustrating.
