Desktop charging dock

I agree. it's very disappointing. Sure you can buy a universal windshield mount, but I can't find a desktop dock anywhere, and it seems as though this is the only phone that doesn't have official accessories like these.

Either due to shortage or because the volume buttons are on the same side as the usb?

either way, htc isn't listening to us, the very customers who made them have a record breaking profit margin last quarter

1) I don't have my phone yet. I just noticed that people can't seem to be finding docks for their phones so I thought I'd help (I plan to get this charging dock though).

2) What do you mean, "...unplug it before you remove it..."? Do you mean unplug the dock, unplug the phone, unplug the battery?

Edit* If you mean, can the phone remain charging while out of the cradle or do you have to unplug it to slide it out of the dock? Then you can just pull it out. The usb cord that the phone charges off of looks small, but if you look close, it's got a springy cord so that it may extend.

3) What do you mean, "...its still charging?"? Do you mean while the phone or the battery is still charging?

Blackberry dock works.

I use my blackberry dock. It's a little snug, but nice display of the screen. Worth looking into...but no "built in" charger...that would be nice.

Got this one too, but didn't anticipate not being able to fit it with an extended battery/ cover. So I took a dremel to it. Seems like alot of people are having to use their dremels with the Incredible huh?

iZel looks intriguing but I agree with everyone else no accessory love for DI =( I think this is because the launch failed with backorder. So all 3rd party vendors probably gave up and moved onto what is out Like Droid X

im doing the exact same thing with my old BB Tour dock. i would imagine the Curve and Bold docks would work like this as well. even when you have the phone plugged in at the same time, its nice and snug with the gel case on the Dinc. plus if you do that, you dont have to worry about the charging contacts in the cradle scratching the back of your phone.

and if youre like me, and are still sort of in BB mode (i just got my Dinc last friday), just remember, you can no longer just yank it out of the cradle!
