ummm heck yeah i am going to continue working on this.

actually Im just installed Linux on my laptop, so I can start whenever I want... although I'm still trying to get the dang thing to boot.

Ill release arearomq v1.2 here shortly and as estabien is part of the dev team (she's already flashed the updated version on the slider) you all will have an arearom port soon I'm sure. Just be on the lookout. Gotta make sure its completely stable and then it will be released.

Well I made the rom for the LG Optimus Q (L55C)... however porting it to the Slider is very easy to do. I'll/Estabien will port it once it hits release. I don't really want to give anyone the rom until I can confirm its working on at least one device. Estabien now has a samsung galaxy s2 so I'm more comfortable having her test it first since she has another device. I can tell you she said that it was running very fast on her phone . I'll make a release post on AreaRomQ v1.2 on Wednesday... and hopefully I'll have a working port (AreaRomSlider v1.0) later in the week. I need to get approval from the other devs over at AndroidArea51 to port it to the Optimus Slider. And since Estabien is the lead dev for the slider over there, she'll likely be the one who releases it.

After running both Miui and LeWa (LeWa with several problems lol, but I think I know where the problems came from) I have decided that if we do get CM7 I will try to port both (doing the one that more people want first) because as it turns out you can port Miui GB to CM7 also.

So our future is bright lol. And which one would you personally rather see... LeWa OS or Miui?
