Got it on my US unlocked edition as well. Feels great to promptly get the latest from HTC without having to wait for AT&T or unlock and flash a ROM. Post if you notice anything different or fixed.

Edit: Hmm. Somehow I magically became the OP.

I have the 32GB unlocked model and checked for updates on a whim this morning. It says the following new update is available:
Software update: 1.29.1540.16 (17.14 MB)
This update contains important enhancements and fixes, including:
- System enhancement

That's it. Downloading now.

Strange forum magic there.

I haven't noticed any changes yet. Looks like a fairly minor update.

I don't see anything different either. Maybe it's infrastructure for 4.2.2 (allegedly) in a couple weeks.

It's probably fixing glitches we didn't even realize were there. Could be with a stick app you need er use. Who knows.

The only thing I'm noticing is that the updated version of Google Play Music isn't crashing constantly.

Interesting. A jump from .3 to .16. That's a whole lot of internal testing....I hope ;)

Update: Interesting update. Phone reboots several times, and then get a window with "Android is upgrading..." along with Optimizing x out of 88 apps

Update 2: Home and back buttons seem more responsive even though I thought we already had that. It could also just be a false sense of newness...

Update 3: Buttons are lit up more, I think.

When I pick up the phone, the buttons light up. When I put the phone on the table, the buttons dim. I don't think it did this before. Am I wrong?

I don't think I've noticed any changes yet. Still happy to be getting updates and hopeful this is indicative of good things to come.
