developers edition. Caller Id help

I have the developers edition on at&t. When someone calls me that is in my contact list I get Id. But if I get a call from anyone else all I get is unknown. I need it to show the # because this is a work phone and sometimes people don't leave a message or # in the message. Not sure if I have it setup correctly for att. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Does the number show and say unknown, or does the number not show at all?

It just shows unknown. No number.

Are you using a pre-activated SIM, or did you get a no-contract plan with a new SIM?

Activated it on my existing family share plan. Had to get new Sims card because old one was a micro and I needed a nano card

Hmmm. I'm not sure what the problem is then. I just took the sim out of my iPhone 6 and my caller id works ok. I have the unlocked M9.
