I keep getting this message pop up when trying to copy music onto my phones memory card. (thread title)

I copy files over by opening the phones files and copying them in that way. I have tried using Kies but that takes FOREVER normally just loading up.
Trying to copy music over with it now just causes it to get stuck trying to copy them over.

For some reason i can copy music into the phones internal memory no problem. its just Kies and the memory card that fail me.

Any ideas?

Have you tried to use the SD Card in a computer (sans-phone)? It might be a problem with the card... also, try to copy something using MTP mode (not Kies), see if that helps.

Couple of things to try is reload the official samsung drivers. Try a different usb port on your pc, I find that the ones on the backside of the desktop are faster.


Also, what is the exact model of sd card you purchasd? Not all cards are created equal.
