I've been dealing with this for over a week and I'm really trying not going to a Verizon Store. I downloaded the OTA and I didn't install but it installed automatically. Was rooted with lag fix. Update has applied according to "settings" but prompts an install at each reboot. I have to defer as installing again after reboot gives the same prompt to apply update. Problem is after every reboot or deferred time i chose, it attempts to
update again....Anymore else have to deal with this? Thx

I am currently rooted with lag fix installed.

Look in your running processes (Settings>Applications>Running Services)for a service called Innopath Activecare. Kill it if it's there. If it's not there, install AutoKiller Memory and check the list of processes in there. I don't think it fixes the prompt from coming up at reboot, but it does get rid of that annoying defer timer.

Yeah that's what I do when I look into running services but it turns back on at reboot and this procedure starts back over again. Ive tried everything i can think of...I read of this happening in a thread when this update 1st came out and decided against it. However I can't locate that thread to find the cure. I'm sure someone else has had this happen?
