Hello
I didn't notice it before as since I bought my s21 Ultra it has been in a cover, it's an Exynos Silver one, on the back starting from the top right corner there is a visible line or strip about 1.5-2mm wide and 2cm long, same color as the rest aka silver but it's visible because there is a tad of relief
Is this normal? Is it an antenna?
Or it's a bad paint job under the glass?
It's not easy to take in photos as it's under the glass and there are a lot of reflections, I tried my best, you can see it faintly in this photo

Hi there. Sorry I haven't seen anything like this before. I don't have that phone but I wanted to answer you so you didn't feel ignored.

No. Just responding that I can see it better in the second picture. Have been using Samsung for years and been in this forum for years and have never seen this problem brouht up before.

There isn't a line like that on my Phantom Navy Ultra. If it usually stays in a case, no one will see it so I guess there's nothing to worry about.

Do you have access to being able to look at another one anyplace to see if it has the same marking/line on it?

I will ask first my shop, someone else in another forum said he has it too, so perhaps it's a silver version thingy being more transparent than the blue and black

Still no answer from the shop
Meanwhile already 3 of 3 persons with the silver s21u confirmed they have the same stripe, over 2 other forums

Updates:
I went to both showroom and after sales of Samsung, I asked salesman and technicians about it , they said it's perfectly normal and that there was the same line in the other corners too if I reverse the phone, I indeed saw them but less easily than the upper one, they said that these are by design to reinforce the case to avoid bending. These are showing with the silver edition because it's just more shiny and transparent than the black, and that some models will have a line more apparent than another. Some people won't notice them at all also because of the light, a warm light will make them more obvious than cold

Thanks for the update, glad it wasn't defective.

New update
I finally got an email answer from Samsung Levant which is the regional HQ of Samsung, they said that if it's visible from all angles then it's a defect, I just checked again and yes the line/wave under the glass is visible from left right up and down angles, though it will show more with artificial light.
What do you think? Should I pay the local service center a visit tomorrow with the email from Samsung Levant or it's better that Samsung Levant send them directly a formal email?

Yeah definitely, you seem concerned so see what they say .
