Dialer Code as Contact Error

Hello Forum-Goers!

I am trying to save the dialer code for the GNII service menu as a contact, but I get an error saying:

"Connection problem or invalid MMI Code"

I have the code saved properly, which is "*#0*#" but I always receive the above error when trying to dial it from the contact. It works perfectly fine when I manually dial it.
