Did anyone get Amazon Prime LG V35?

I mean this definitely is not going to be a popular device. First thing it's only available on AT&T and I got it because I prefer non carrier devices and the prime exclusive deal on the unlocked model was great. But honestly 99% of the people buy what's available on their carrier good or bad.
We are lucky that some of the accessories from V30 still kind of work with V35 otherwise it would have been even more bad in terms of accessories.

I have moved from both G7 and V35. Onto Note 9 now
After that Pixel 3 XL should be my last phone until next spring.

Lol. I'm just one step away from you. Sold G7 and test drive V35. I'll skip Note 9 since curve isn't my thing.

On other AT&T-branded LG phones that I have used, Visual Voicemail is an app. I have been unable to find that app in the Play Store so it's probably baked in. I can enable/disable it on the V20, but not the V35 Amazon Prime version (it's not shown at all on the apps list, even with "show system" enabled).

Does this mean I am SOL on the Amazon Prime version and will be forever condemned to holding the '1' button in the dialer to get my voicemail the old fashioned way?If so, it's a small price to pay.

I ran into the same issue. I even tried side loading the apk for the app, and still wouldn't work as it required phone access and it wasn't an option in the app for some reason. I ended up returning it and getting an ATT branded version. I've never seen that happen before. I've been able to install and use the app from the play store on everything from a One Plus to Huawei Mate 10

Another issue with the Amazon phone is that you need to go to LG for support. I am having screen issue and if I had the ATT phone I could go straight to an ATT center and have it repaired or replaced. With LG, it is all through the mail and they have lousy support.

Hello. I currently have a Galaxy S7 Edge. I am considering getting the LG v35 ThinQ. I have ATT for carrier.
I have never purchased an unlocked phone before. What would I need to do to get the phone activated on ATT?
Also is the phone still selling for 649.00. That is a lot better than the 900 price on att.com.

You have to download the app from a 3rd party source, and then manually run it in the after each reboot so it runs in the background, but yes it works absolutely fine.

There is no reason for AT&T to block the unlocked phones from seeing it, other than they want to punish people who didn't buy their branded version.
