Did Google just completely forget about raise to wake?

I am using Gravity - it works great....

popezaphod - When I tried to set up finger print scanner - it said I had to have double security on my phone or it would not work.... :(

The feature in moves is not the same as AOD. The one I am using, the AOD amoled beta, is good for what I want but I do think it drains the battery a bit. But I decided to live with that.
How bad is the battery drain? I hid the always on features and just have the double tap to wake. Wonder if that helps save the battery using the app...

I honestly don't think it's that big of a battery drain. I'm always around a charger so it's NBD but if I was gonna be gone somewhere all day with no charger access, I'd just turn it off. I love this app. I even spent a whopping .99 for the pro version lol

I think that helps. I haven't checked how much it does actually drain, with and without some of its features on or off. I need to do some comparing and haven't gotten around to it yet. I am glad it works, but I do tend to turn it off if I know I am not going to be around any plugs for a long time,

Yeah I haven't seen much of a drain to be significant enough to shut it off. Coming from the s7e I got spoiled with the AOD. This app is great, is there a way to set a time frame on it?

On a side note, just realized I am not getting notifications via tapatalk when someone quotes my post. Everything in the settings is on too.

Yes you can set it to go off after certain times, the longest being 2 hours.

I use Chronos Pro which basically is a screen saver app that you enable in the Display settings under Screen Saver and it will display time, date, weather, next alarm and main notifications with the add-ons. However, it only displays this info when plugged in or in a dock. Which works fine for me. It can also be used as a widget but I don't use it.
