Ok, I did a search and couldn't really find this one so forgive me in advance if Captain Obvious is right over my shoulder. :)

I rooted using drews post here http://forums.androidcentral.com/lg...d-gingerbreak-no-reverting-ota-works-too.html . Then I attempted to install CM recovery http://forums.androidcentral.com/lg...covery-xionia-clockwork-cwma-v1-2518-6-a.html

I don't think it took because when I re booted it went directly to the stock recovery where it says No valid image in cache. The problem is I cannot ADB in recovery at least I tried. Then I was going to do that emergency thing but I couldn't get it to work.

Am I SOL?

Thanks in advance to drew and all the other developers in Android land.

EDIT: I did manage to get this to restart by pressing the camera button down for the reboot option. So going to try the adb custom recovery again.

Moved to rooting/roms/hacks section. People who do not root their phone don't necessarily care about your issue. Conversely, by posting in the proper area the people who do care and can likely help will read your post ;)

Curious? When you say you couldn't get it to work, are you saying your screen didn't say anything? Because it doesn't always. It never has for me, and I've unbricked twice through E-Mode. If your buttons turn on, then you should be good.

Any update? Or was this just a first post to download on the forums?

You might want to do a ADB Recovery, if you can get to a terminal. Sorry if I did not get it right. I am new here. :D

Thank you Sir. I get confused on where to park things between here and XDA.

Update. I did get it back and running. It's rooted of course but I am having a heck of time getting the clockwork mod going. I go through the steps and when I go through with the reboot recovery mode the stock recovery shows up. So I turned it off and vol down, home & power and it still has the stock recovery. I am going to try another PC later this evening. Thanks for the replies, I will report back later.

Hi Alvis,

I am going to give it one more go with ABD, I like to see what is going on and get my hands dirty so to speak. But if that fails, I will give your script a shot. Thank you and the others for making these things possible.
